Colostrum is a whole food, first milk dried to a powder, that goes on top of a normal meal. If your dog is on a prescribed treatment or under a vet's care, ask your vet before you add it.
By weight, once a day: one scoop for a dog under 25 lb, two at 26–50 lb, three at 51–75 lb, four at 76–100 lb, five over 100 lb. Sprinkle it over a meal and that's the whole routine.
Ask your vet first, as you would before adding anything new to a puppy's bowl. It's a whole food with nothing added, and the serving goes by weight, so a small puppy gets one scoop.
PupRx is colostrum from cows, so it’s a dairy product from cattle. If your dog is sensitive to beef or dairy, talk to your vet before you start.
IgG is the main antibody in colostrum. 25% means at least a quarter of every scoop, by weight, is IgG, and that minimum is printed on the jar. It’s one ingredient because whole colostrum already carries what you’re buying it for; anything else in the jar would be less colostrum per scoop.
